For a flawless, streak-free tan, wax and exfoliate your body 24 hours before applying self-tanning mousse.

Pump the mousse onto a tanning mitt and apply to your body in circular motions. Use sparingly on elbows, knees, ankles, feet, and hands. Apply to clean skin, free of perfume or deodorant.

Depending on your desired result, shower: after 1 hour for a very dark tan; after 3 hours for the darkest possible shade.

Once you've achieved your desired skin tone, rinse with lukewarm water only, without using soap, scrub, or shampoo. Rinse until the water running off your body is clear to ensure an impeccably even skin tone. Pat dry with a towel.
